Participants are expected to make their own arrangements for travel and booking their accommodation in Rio de Janeiro. The local organizers recommend the following two hotels in the downtown area and in close proximity to the venue:
VenueThe workshop will take place in the Auditorium of the Brazilian Academy of Science (ABC) located in the Downtown Area of Rio de Janeiro (see map below). Fees and foodParticipation is free of charge and there is no registration fee. Coffee breaks will be provided during the workshop at the Academy. Lunches and dinners are at participants own cost. TransportationTransportation for and from the Academy will not be provided. A selection of hotels close to the meeting venue are offered. Please check if you require an entry visa for Brazil on the official pages of the Brazilian Ministry of External Relations. Vaccination against yellow fever is recommended by WHO for international travellers visiting any area in the state of São Paulo.Lightning Talks for posters sessionThe Lightning Talks for posters session will take place on the first day (17 April) at 15h00. It will consist of a series of very short presentations (maximum 3 slides in 3-5 minutes) to encourage participants to visit your poster. PostersPosters must be printed in advance and brought to the meeting venue on the first day. The recommended format for the posters is the ISO A0 format ( 841 × 1189 millimeters or 33.11 × 46.81 inches). Posters will be hanged in the display room adjacent to the auditorium. |
